Reflections

The first standard focuses on teachers' ability to promote and motivate students' learning and creativity, as well as students' collaborative learning in virtual classrooms. Nowadays, with the development of economy and technology, distance learning is becoming more and more popular. Instructional technology will be indispensable for the future of education. With the continuous development of network technology, collaborative learning will be widely studied and applied. Collaborative learning is a novel learning mode that is an indispensable section of modern distance learning of today. Its broad application will greatly promote the modernization of instruction process.

The first artifact I chose was the IT648 blog. IT648 is my first course in the Master of Education Technology Program. We use blogs to record reflections on the learning curriculum. Blog is a great tool for students to reflect on course content and other learning experiences. At the same time, the ability to comment and reply can easily lead to teamwork. We conduct group collaborative learning through mutual comments and exchange of ideas. The second artifact that I chose was a group report with online students through Google Docs. We have selected five of today's more popular online communication learning tools for discussion and communication. We discussed the advantages and disadvantages of various software and classroom teaching strategies. During this learning process, our team members conducted effective communication and collaborative learning. The last artifact I chose for IT567 blogfolio. This course is Digital Publishing and Visual Design. This course enhances students' design ability by designing various brochure newsletters.

Future learning goals

I hope that I can continue to work in the education field in the future. I will continue to improve my ability to innovate and learn to improve my teaching skills and teaching methods. I will use advanced teaching design concepts in my future teaching and provide students with effective learning tools and learning methods to enhance students' learning creativity. I will also design more group learning activities in the course to promote student collaboration.
