Distance Learning

In my opinion, distance learning is a learning process that could happen at different locations instead of traditional face to face learning in the same space. In this learning process, instructor and students need to use computers or other mobile devices to communicate through online electronic platforms to make learning and interaction happen. Distance learning can solve the problems caused by limitation of time and location. The access to internet and computers reduces cost and increases time-efficiency of distance learning. Instructor can teach classes via medium, such as having online meetings, and posting video, audio or text learning materials. However, there are also some issues in distance learning, for instance, distance learn does not have the convenience of face-to-face class. Therefore, the communication and interaction between students and instructor undoubtedly becomes more important. Group work is good for communication and collaboration with group members. For a group work, we can express different opinions and views on a topic at any time in any place. There are a thousand Hamlet in a thousand people’s eyes. Everyone has different opinions based on unique experience of different individuals. Group members can communicate with each other via various communication tools.
